Youth Concerto Competition - Preston Symphony Orchestra

The Youth Concerto Competition is an opportunity for musicians aged 18 and under to rehearse and perform with the Preston Symphony Orchestra. Finalists are selected at auditions in April and May, and the program for the competition concert is announced in June.

The Contestants & Music

Six finalists for the 2026 Youth Concerto Competition were selected at auditions held at Bernie’s Musicland in Ringwood in late May. Many thanks to all those who participated in the auditions, as well as those who entered the competition.

The following young musicians will play at the competition concert on Sunday 13 September (names in alphabetical order).
